Two-Component Waterborne Grey Epoxy Primer
Based on Beckopox™ EP 2376w/60WA & Beckocure® EH 2260w/41WA
REC26009 is a starting-point formulation for a two-component (2K), water-reducible grey epoxy primer. It pairs the allnex Beckopox™ EP 2376w/60WA waterborne epoxy resin with the Beckocure® EH 2260w/41WA amine hardener to deliver a low-VOC, anticorrosive primer for industrial steel protection.

Reference: JV 126/3. Mixing ratio is Part A : Part B = approx. 3 : 1 by weight. Combine the two components only shortly before application.
Processing
- Prepare and homogenize the mill base (Part A-I and A-II) Mix all components of Part A-I in the mentioned order. Add the components of Part A-II in the mentioned order and homogenize for 3–10 minutes.
- Grind the mill base Grind on a bead mill for approx. 30 minutes.
- Add additives and resin to complete Part A (Part A-III and A-IV) Add step by step Part A-III, then complete with Part A-IV (Beckopox™ EP 2376w/60WA).
- Combine the two components and adjust Mix Part A and Part B (Beckocure® EH 2260w/41WA) shortly before application and adjust to the required viscosity with deionized water.
