Two-Component Waterborne Epoxy Primer, Grey
Based on Beckopox™ EP 387w/52WA & Beckopox EH 613w/80WA
REC20053 is a starting-point formulation for a two-component (2K), water-reducible grey epoxy primer. It pairs the allnex Beckopox™ EP 387w/52WA waterborne epoxy resin with the Beckopox EH 613w/80WA amine hardener to deliver a low-VOC, pigmented primer for industrial substrates.

Combine the two components only shortly before application, then adjust the viscosity with deionized water. (Prev.: FE1573/1A)
Processing
- Prepare and homogenize the mill base (Component A) Mix all components of Part A-I in the stated order, then add components A-II in the stated order and homogenize for 3–10 minutes.
- Grind on a bead mill, then complete Part A Grind approx. 30 minutes on a bead mill, then add Part A-III and A-IV step by step to complete Part A.
- Combine the two components and adjust Mix Part A and Part B (Beckopox EH 613w/80WA with deionized water) shortly before application and adjust the viscosity with deionized water.
