Two-Component Waterborne Epoxy Anti-Corrosion Primer, Grey
Based on Beckopox™ EP 384w/53WAMP & Beckopox VEH 2188w/55WA
REC20050 is a starting-point formulation for a two-component (2K), water-reducible grey epoxy anti-corrosion primer. It pairs the allnex Beckopox™ EP 384w/53WAMP waterborne epoxy resin with the Beckopox VEH 2188w/55WA amine hardener to deliver a low-VOC, zinc-phosphate-pigmented primer for industrial corrosion protection on steel.

Part A : Part B ratio is approx. 5 : 1 by weight. Combine the two components only shortly before application. Previous reference: HS17/4BZ.
Processing
- Disperse stages A-I and A-II Mix Part A-I and Part A-II in the mentioned order and disperse on a dissolver for approx. 30 minutes at approx. 4000 rounds per minute. The dispersing temperature should not exceed 40 °C.
- Add stage A-III Mix Part A-III in the mentioned order and complete with Part A-I + A-II.
- Combine the two components and apply Mix Part A and Part B shortly before application and adjust the viscosity with deionized water.
